Attention: Women Living in Rural or Remote Communities in Canada

Researchers with the National Steering Committee on Rural and Remote  Women's Health are interested in better understanding the health and  health care experiences that you have had as a woman living in a rural  or remote community.  We are particularly interested in the effects of  health care reform and restructuring on your access to health services  and the quality of those services.  We would also like to be able to  identify the changes that need to be made to improve upon the situation  facing many women in rural and remote communities across Canada.

To this end, we have developed the following website for you to

anonymously share your thoughts and feelings about these issues:

 http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=60253264696

If you would prefer to speak to someone directly, we have also set up a  24 hour, toll-free number through the Canadian Women's Health Network  for you to leave your name and contact information for follow up:

 1-888-818-9172 ext. 18.

Please be assured that all information you share is kept strictly

 confidential.

We will be collecting information up until December 2003.

Funding for this research is provided by Status of Women Canada.  A full  report of research findings will be made available by March 2004.
