JOHN
TORY APPOINTS ANDREW HODGSON AS PRINCIPAL SECRETARY
(Queen's
Park) - Ontario PC Party leader John Tory today announced he has appointed
Andrew Hodgson as his principal secretary.
"Andrew
has a breadth of experience in the PC Party, including in
opposition
and I look forward to him taking on this important leadership role,"
said Tory.
Hodgson
served as John Tory's campaign manager in the recent leadership race. He
is a former Executive Director of the Ontario PC Party and an
experienced campaigner and grassroots organizer who has held
numerous senior
positions
both in opposition and government.
Hodgson,
is 40 and from Haliburton, Ontario. He is married to wife Anne and
has two sons aged 18 and 16.
Hodgson
will also assist Bob Runciman in his interim duties as Leader of the
Official Opposition.
