               Ο συνταγματάρχης των καναδικών ενόπλων δυνάμεων ξηράς με συνάδελφό του των ναυτικών δυνάμεων παραλαμβάνει την τιμητική διάκριση της Ένωσης του Τύπου Εθνοτήτων Καναδά από τον Θωμά Σάρα.

Ο γενικός διευθυντής της Καναδικής Εθνικής Έκθεσης (CNE) του Τορόντο, Ντέιβιντ Μπέντναρ, καθώς παραλαμβάνει την τιμητική διάκριση για εξαιρετική απόδοση στη διοίκηση του οργανισμού, με τον επίτιμο πρόεδρο του διοικητικού συμβουλίου του Τύπου Εθνοτήτων Καναδά, Δρα Μάριο Βαράνο, και δύο Λατινοαμερικανίδες καλλονές.

Ο Γιάννης Δαγώνας, πρόεδρος του Ιδρύματος Ελληνικής Κληρονομιάς και πρόεδρος της εταιρίας Duron, σε ένα αναμνηστικό στιγμιότυπο κατά τη διάρκεια της τελετής.

John Dagonas, president of the Hellenic Heritage Foundation and president of Duron Construction, receives an award for distinguished services to Greek-Canadian communities and the advancement of multiculturalism.

George Seretis, an industrialist with a record of excellence in helping the community, receives an award. With him, Dr. Mario Varano and the president of the organization Thomas Saras.

Ο ομογενής Γιώργος Σερέτης, επιχειρηματίας και βιομήχανος, πρώην πρόεδρος και συνδημιουργός της Ελληνικής Κοινότητας της περιοχής Γιορκ, τιμάται σε αναγνώριση των πολλαπλών προσφορών του προς την ομογένεια.

Hyo Kim, publisher of the “Korea Canada Central Daily”, receives an award for “excellence in journalism”. With him, the committee of the Ethnic Press Council of Canada.

Nabil Saad, publisher & editor of “El Expresso” in Spanish, receives his award.

Hassan Zerehi, publisher & editor-in-chief of the Iranian Shahrvand, receives his award for “excellence in journalism”.

Srimal Abeyewardene, editor of the Shri Lanka Reporter, receives his award.

The publisher & editor-in-chief of Share Arnold A. Auguste and first vice-president of the board of directors of the Ethnic Press Council of Canada receives the honour for “excellence in journalism, serving a multicultural community.”

Enzo Di Mauro, editor of Panorama Italiano and a member of the electronic media receives his award for serving his community for more than thirty years.

Jamil Ahmed, executive editor of the Canadian Asian News, with Dr. Asad P. Sheikh, ex-president of the Toronto Rotary Club-Forest Hill, and the president of the Ethnic Press Council of Canada Thomas S. Saras during the ceremony.
