In the aftermath of the barbarous attack on the heart of the United States of America, we, Canadians of Hellenic heritage throughout the province express our deepest sorrow and sympathies to the families of the victims and the courageous people of America.

Descended from the land of Democracy, we rush to voice our outrage towards the perpetrators of these despicable acts of violence and hatred against humanity and to join with everyone in the fight against terrorism everywhere.

We pray and work for peace and peaceful solutions to world conflicts and we absolutely and categorically oppose terror as a means for promoting resolution on any type of problem.

May God allow the innocent victims to rest in peace and give the world the wisdom necessary to fight this evil.
