Give your Electricity Bill the Gift of Savings - Toronto Hydro launches Fifth Annual Festive Light Exchange

TORONTO, Oct. 24 /CNW/ - Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited (Toronto Hydro) in partnership with the City of Toronto and Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas (TABIA) is pleased to announce the return of the season's most popular conservation program: Festive Light Exchange.

To kick off the spirit of giving, the utility is offering Toronto

residents one (1) free string of energy-efficient LED seasonal lights in

exchange for two (2) strings of incandescent seasonal lights.

Last year, thousands of Torontonians showed their holiday spirit by

lighting up the season with energy-efficient bulbs and knocking 2 Megawatts

from Toronto's power grid. Conservation saves money, electricity and the

environment.
