RCMP to hold Toronto "Diversity in Recruiting" event

 

TORONTO, March 14 /CNW/ - Young people from Toronto's diverse cultural communities are invited to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police's Toronto "Diversity in Recruiting" reception and display on Tuesday, March 21, 2006.

The RCMP is actively recruiting to enhance our unique and diverse team

dedicated to ensuring safe homes and safe communities in Canada.

    A career in policing offers today's young people the chance to have a

daily positive impact on the community they serve, while enjoying the benefits of a vocation with job security and a nearly endless potential for growth and development in various areas of specialization.

    "Diversity in Recruiting" will showcase a variety of opportunities within

Canada's National Police force through various displays and interaction with uniformed members.

    WHEN:     Tuesday, March 21, 2006, 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
