School Students Get In Free At Provincial Attractions From July to
September
Mississauga — The Government of Ontario has recently announced that
parents can plan affordable outings with their kids this summer by using
Ontario’s 2006 More to Discover Fun Pass.
This pass includes one free children’s admission to 15
provincial attractions and a discount for families visiting Ontario
parks.
“Our government is on the side of hard-working Ontario families, and
this pass makes Ontario’s attractions and parks more affordable for
everyone this summer,” said Harinder Takhar, M.P.P. for Mississauga
Centre.
Worth more than $120 in ticket prices for all attractions, the Fun Pass
is being distributed to 1.4 million elementary school students across
the province over the next few weeks.
The Fun Pass will also help boost local tourism in our community of
Mississauga by giving families free tickets to attractions across the
province. In 2004, 75 per cent of tourists in the province were Ontario
residents.
