Martin Rallies Campaign
Workers
TORONTO –
Jim Karygiannis, Liberal Candidate for the riding of Scarborough-Agincourt,
welcomed Prime Minister Paul Martin to a huge Liberal rally of
enthusiastic campaign workers in Scarborough.
More than
fifteen hundred GTA Liberals packed the Delta Hotel Ballroom to hear the
Prime Minister speak. “As I
look out over this crowd, I see the face of Canada.” Prime Minister
Martin said “I want to thank all of you for working so hard for the
Party. You are the strength
of the Liberal Party.”
“Having
the Prime Minister come to Scarborough-Agincourt is a great honour.”
said Mr. Karygiannis. “The
volunteers were very excited about seeing the Prime Minister.
They wanted to let him know that they are working hard to elect
their local Liberal candidates.”
The excited
volunteers arrived on buses, waving signs and chanting support for their
candidates and the Prime Minister. The
rally, organized by the Jim Karygiannis Campaign Team, was for Scarborough
and GTA Liberal Candidates and their volunteers.
