They will bear the title “Honourable” and will keep this title and their Privy Council status, for life.
Mr. Karygiannis said he was humbled by the confidence and trust that the Prime Minister has placed in him. “Today, the government begins to chart a new vision for Canadians. My role will be to work with the Minister of Transport in responding to the challenges facing our villages, towns and cities. I look forward to being a member of the government team that will make important decisions on our future,” he added.
Mr. Karygiannis was first elected Member of Parliament for Scarborough-Agincourt in 1988.
