Dear Hellenes
--Nations cannot be created and prosper on borrowed or stolen foundations
of
false cultural identities. Neither can democracy survive by replacing
historic vision with revision of history. I fully support the
existence of
this country north of Greece with the interim name of The FYROM. I
support
her efforts to join the EU and NATO, provided her official name does not
include the term "Macedonia" or its derivatives. Further,
I harbor no
animosity or any ill feelings towards the FYROM's citizens or her
Diaspora.
My only objection is to their use of the name of "Macedonia",
which belongs
exclusively to the Hellenic identity, culture, history and heritage and I
condemn the continued propaganda emanating from The FYROM falsifying the
Hellenic heritage of Macedonia.
